Campus Enhancement Project

In December of 2019 the Nez Perce County Museum acquired the lot to the East of the museum. With the lot purchase, the museum was able to expand it's usable space and allowed us to finalize the ownership of Idaho's First Territorial Capitol Replica Building.

With your financial support we can relocate the replica building starting on October 28, 2020 and completely relocating by the first week of November. Your donation will help us improve and expand our historic campus by adding sidewalks, upkeeping and maintaining the campus, adding natural landscaping, additional kiosks, and security system.

The relocation of the replica will allow it to be consistently open to the public Tuesday-Saturday from 10am to 4pm.

Giving to the Campus Enhancement can be done in several ways. You can make a cash or check donation made payable to the Nez Perce County Museum, you can donate on Facebook or through out website. All donations made to this project can be dedicated, or gifted in memory of an individual, and are also tax deductible. Donations can remain anonymous if donor requests.

Choosing to make a donation to the project will help support the society's mission of preserving the rich history of Nez Perce County for the enrichment and benefit of generations to come.
